LNG Valentine HD Video Shoot!
Today many photographer and videographer friends of mine were capturing romantic couples and models, keeping in the tradition of the Hallmark celebration of St.Valentine’s day. Well, we did another shoot here at 98, for publicist firm MODISH, capturing the romance and passion of … an LNG groundbreaking ceremony! It was a beautiful clear high-pressure day, making it ideal conditions for shooting the outdoor festivities and industrial architecture. I shot with the Panasonic HVX 200 with a an 85A filter and ND 2 setting to get a stunning full range in the deep blue sky and lessen the intensity of the light reflected from the steel pipes. My father is in the shipping industry, and growing up he would often take me with him on his routine visits to the ships, shipyards and drydocks. I’ve always enjoyed the visual design elements in industrial areas and seeing how human beings interact within the space.
