T.S. Mickles On Essence’s Top 5 Best Sellers List!
Robert T.S. Mickles, a regular visitor to our studio in Savannah, owns Concierge Transportation Service. Well, Robert’s also a writer, and to get a story off his mind, he got right down to it and cranked out the killer novel ‘Blood Kin’. Taking it one step further, he signed the book with indie distributor iUniverse.com last summer, and being savvy they listed it on Amazon.com. Now, this month, he’s in ESSENCE Magazine’s TOP 5 Best Sellers List!!!
It’s funny to think that 5 years ago, Robert would have waited months and years, in order to meet a publisher, who would pick up the book, send it to select retail stores, do small to major promotions, and then wait to see if the book succeeds. But not today my friends! Through our modern e-commerce landscape, a buyer’s democracy where artist’s have greater access to promote their work, where you write a good book, people like it, they buy it and like Robert, you too could wind up on the TOP 5 Bestseller’s list! Way to go Robert!
