Kristina Train to Play April 1st!
Kristina Train (a frequent visitor to our studio), rounded out 2007 with a performance at Carnegie Hall as part of the Elton John / Bernie Taupin Music For Youth Benefit Concert. The Concert featured inspired performances by Train, the superb Joss Stone, and Mark Cohn; all in support of the UJA-Federation Of New York’s Music For Youth Program. Train, who has been recording her debut in London and Los Angeles for Blue Note Records, will join her band Scrapomatic on April 1st, at the Savannah Music Festival!
The Festival, which is orchestrated by Mike Nichols’ former partner-in-crime Jane Levy, will also feature performances by Angelique Kidjo, Blind Boys of Alabama, Bruce Hornsby, Derek Trucks Band, Bela Fleck, Police drummer Stewart Copeland, and Tony Award-Winning performer Audra McDonald!!
