We’re up in Slave Lake, Alberta for the production of our new SNF promotional spot!   Here’s a couple of shots of the mighty Slave Lake which is so big that boats have gotten lost in storm swells out there.

Shoot Producer: Sherrie Breen for Modish, LLC.  It was great to be up 150 feet as we filmmed the roof raising of the new Liquid Natural Gas tank built by CBI.  Looking across at the executives and press standing across from us on another tank was like a scene out of Bespin, the fictious cloud city in George Lucas‘ The Empire Strikes Back.  The roof was raised solely by air pressure, without any humans in the tank beneath it.  Patiently the steelworkers waited at the top through the four process, to weld and fasten in the huge stakes once it arrived up to it’s maximum level.  The American flag was flying on top.

Shoot Producer: Sherrie Breen for Modish, LLC.  Today we performed a location scout for the upcoming roof raising ceremony at Elpaso’s LNG facility.  In order to capture the new dome roof being placed on the new tank, we will be filmming atop a platform on an adjenct tank, 150 feet in the air.
