We continue the post-production for our feature length Adoptionmentary project, co-produced with Sheila Jaffe C.S.A. and Darryl McDaniels of RUN DMC. The feature-length documentary details the story of America’s adoptees throughout the last 80 years and is slated for completion in early 2011.

A Documentary About Trevor Hall

Day 8 of our tour documentary with Trevor Hall. We head through the snowy hills of Vermont towards Northampton Mass. The trip began in Chicago, then Baltimore (huge energy), NYC, Burlington….it’s dizzying. The Iron Horse awaits us tonight and if it’s anything like these past shows, it will be off the charts! 95% of the shows on this tour are sold out, with fan lines waiting for autographs stretching around the stage at the end of the night. Look for the feature-length documentary later this fall with Trevor, Mario (bass), Chris (drums), guitarist Aaron Doogan, Phil (tour manager) and you: the fans! Special thanks goes to Gerry Gershman, Monterey International Booking, Patrice Patrick and Vanguard Records. The filmming process of a documentary goes something like the Victoria Williams’ verse, “This moment, will never be again, because it has never been before.”

Many Roads: Trevor Hall Rockumentary

“Many Roads” (tentative title TBC) is the new Trevor Hall documentary we are working on with Director Patrice Patrick (helmer of the USC short film Sunday Dreamer). We begin our filmming this winter in Chicago and travelling the ‘many roads’ on tour with Trevor, Chris (drummer) and Mario (bassist).

The feature-length documentary intends to be over an hour in length, with the photo portraits and full interviews available in a book available on shelves in late 2010. Felix Organization ‘Adopted’

We head to NYC this week to begin work on the production of ‘Adopted’: a documentary with the purpose of giving a face to adoption in America. The program will feature celebrity and non-celebrity adoptees telling the story of their lives. Saturday’s shoot features Felix Organization co-founder Darryl McDaniels of RUN DMC (above). The production features filmmakers Sheila Jaffe, Darryl McDaniels and Trevor Jenkins, and will be ready in 2010.
